Wow, that is some kind of messed up. Banner news day, indeed. And to think my little struggle of the day has been whether to take the money I was going to spend on purchasing the book in my dad's honor/memory (I do this every year & give it to a library, as he was a librarian) on my (living) mother's birthday gift because I really don't have enough set aside for her gift to get anything decent.
